The Philippine STAR entered into an agreement with the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX) as the finance organization’s media partner of the forthcoming ING-FINEX Search for CFO (Chief Finance Officer) of the Year. Merk Media entered into an agreement with the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX) as the finance organization’s public relations and publicity arm of the forthcoming ING-FINEX Search for CFO (Chief Finance Officer) of the Year. These are some of the houses reconstructed plank by plank and stone by stone from their original locations in Manila, Ilocos, Pampanga, Bulacan and other provinces.

The PID committee, other FINEX members and guests were welcomed by Mr. Jerry Acuzar and his wife Tess, with a sumptuous lunch at the former “Municipio ng Baliwag”, which is now fully restored at the Village. There are 18 standing houses, including the original “Escuela de las Bellas Artes” of the University of the Philippines built sometime in the 1880’s which is now again being used by the UP College of Fine Arts. One of the oldest houses date back to 1850, and a “House Beautiful” contest winner in 1927 from Nueva Ecija also stands at the estate
